This is not my normal style and I am not sure I
even like it but it was my first crack at a very meaningful story which
is told in hidden journaling. My dad planted 3 red rose bushes by their
driveway a few yrs ago. When he died on July 10 (after a year-long battle with esophageal cancer), there was nothing
dramatic about his actual death. But, 8 days later, I suddenly noticed a full white
bloom at the top of one of the bushes. The END of one branch that is
otherwise still producing red (and is above the graft) has now produced 4
white roses and has 2 new white buds.
Anyway, my dad's recurring cancer and death explain both the absence and the crazy. But, I have scrapbooked some this summer so am going to try to start blogging again .
Supplies: white AC cardstock, SC Mr Huey (school house), TA glimmer mist (red-nose reindeer?), white primas, AC Thickers, SC doily stamp set, Ranger embossing powder (polysparkle white)
